
Greenwich Public School Music Program is an extra-curricular activity and as such is not funded by the school, but through band fees which cover the cost of the conductor, music, competition entry fees, buying new instruments etc. Music fees are due at the beginning of Term 1 and Term 3. Payments not received by week 5 of the term will result in exclusion from band until the fees have been paid.
Strings and Band Programs $275 per semester ($550 per year)
Guitar Group Programs $250 per semester ($500 per year)
Private Tuition $45 - $50 approx. per 30min weekly lesson
(To be organised independently with a qualified tutor).
Annual Music Camp $300 - $350 approx.
(Held in May annually over two days and one night).

Group/Ensemble fees cover the costs of employing conductors and tutors, maintaining equipment, purchasing new music scores, competition and performance entry fees and assisting with the purchase of new instruments.
The groups/ensembles are where the students learn to play music in an ensemble/band/orchestra setting. It is NOT a lesson where they are instructed how to play a particular instrument this is done in the private one to one lessons
In addition to ensemble rehearsals, all students in the Program must have a private music lesson each week with a specialist tutor.
